The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for the week of December 30 reveals Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will get an unpleasant blast from the past.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make a disturbing discovery. Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will celebrate. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to keep it together for Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Viewers should note, Y&R will air repeat episodes on Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1. However, new episodes of the sudser will return on Thursday, January 2.
Y&R Weekly Scoop – Phyllis Tells Michael That He’s A Traitor
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will not be a happy camper when she, Daniel and Summer show up at the Jazz Club on New Year’s Eve. She’ll see Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) hanging out with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and she’ll call him a traitor. But Summer will say they should be having fun. So, Phyllis will promise to stop snarking at people.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Claire will celebrate the brand new year in style. Kyle will take his new girlfriend out for a fancy dinner at one of Genoa City’s fine restaurants. However, it’s doubtful they’d be in a celebratory mood if they knew her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was on the loose.
Speaking of Jordan, she’ll knock out Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with chloroform, just as she’s getting out of her vehicle in front of Society. Then Nick and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will arrive and he’ll realize that Sharon never showed up.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Will Mariah Warn Them About Ian?
Finally, Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will drug Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) water at Society. The hostess will stagger outside to get some air and fall right into the villain’s arms. A short time later, Mariah will come along and see her wife being cradled by someone.
“Tessa, oh my God what happened?” Mariah will ask. Tessa’s head will bob and Ian will smugly look up at a stunned Mariah. Longtime viewers will recall a nurse named Helen Copeland (Karina Logue) stole baby Mariah from Sharon for her cult leader Ian. He then raised her as his daughter. When Mariah grew up, Ian tried to make her his bride.
Regardless, by the time Nick and Faith get to the restaurant, he’ll be long gone. But will Mariah sound the alarm that Ian Ward is back in Genoa City?
